June 13th, 2010 admin No comments

As new information on the web has dramatically increased over the last 5 years so has the need to archive all of it. The shift in search engine rankings will always happen as Google archives new information daily. The main reason is other websites become more relevant and that in turn increases the competitiveness. The ‘Caffeine’ project was developed to make this process happen quicker and more efficient. It’s to give their users the best information as soon as it is uploaded to the internet.

The basic elements of SEO will always reign supreme. Fresh content added to a website should now be more heavily focused than ever before; otherwise you will be left behind a whole lot faster than you were in the past. Blogs is the fastest way to add new/fresh content to your website and to have that content indexed/archived by the search engines.

Remember people, content is king and be confident that the overall picture is relevancy and quality of search results. White hat SEO is never outdated. Content, links etc. Keep on being the best resource for your industry and you will always remain on top no matter how drastic the algorithm changes.

3 Aggressive SEO Linking Strategies

March 16th, 2010 admin No comments

Using search engine optimization for one-way link building is the most important factor for getting a high keyword ranking. Because search engines list their results from your link popularity, SEO positioning should be your number one strategy for high pagerank.

SEO Tip #1

When utilizing an aggressive linking campaign, don’t start linking into multiple domain networks which are all hosted on the same server or buying a series of links hosted within a single IP addresses. What your website needs are natural links that will be gained over a period of time. One of the best ways to achieve this is to comment on do-follow blogs (not spamming, but commenting on a few per day) where your website link is naturally growing.

SEO Tip #2

The pagerank quality of those sites you want to link to you must appear natural to the search engines. Be careful to not only link to sites with a high page rank of 8 or 9. You should also seek links from a good range of sites with both high and low page rank values. This is especially the case for new sites and submitting articles to the various article directories will achieve this.

SEO Tip #3

Try looking at your link campaign from a purely scientific view. Basically, you need to find out what the visitors to your site are searching for and then find out which phrases convert to sales and then target your link text towards these visitors. Once you have determined your highest value phrases, you then apply those phrases in the anchor text you request from your link partners. Using this method allows you to request links based on the highest Return Of Investment (ROI), as well as appearing natural to the search engine spiders.

hiddencontentstringishere.Hidden content in seo is detrimental to search engine rankings. It can also affect link building seo. Link building strategies are very hard to implement but at the end of the day, quality content demands quality links. People do link to quality websites. This is how Twitter.com has become the biggest online social communication medium on the internet. People link to trustworthy resources and its another way to give citations. Should these citations be given the same weight as a normal link, Yes and No. Yes because it means your website is awesome, No because whats stopping bots from spamming there websites with multiple twitter accounts. Websites have more metrics for search engines such as Google to measure and to determine search engine rankings.

7 Powerful Methods to Get One Way Back Links

November 15th, 2009 admin No comments

By David S Baxter
As a website owner, you’re probably familiar with the term SEO (short for Search Engine Optimization). You probably know this relates to how you set up and wrote the content for your website so that it would get high rankings on the search engines. But did you know how much backlinks contribute to the success of your website? Lots of quality one-way backlinks – meaning links from another site to yours for a legitimate reason – help dramatically improve your rankings in the search engines.

There are commercial services out there that sell and trade links between members and can generate a large number of backlinks, but doing this type of activity actually hurts your rankings on the search engines. As the search engines discovered this was happening, they started to penalize any websites that participated in this practice because it really wasn’t a relevant indicator of a website’s content or quality. So it is much wiser to generate a handful of legitimate one-way backlinks than to trade or purchase backlinks via these means. There are seven wise steps you can take to generate legitimate, organic, one-way backlinks for your website.

1. Market Articles Online. No matter what your website sells or is about, you can write-or have someone else write-informative articles that can help your potential customers with a problem or situation. People are always looking online for solutions to their problems, so these kinds of articles get lots of readers. When you write and publish articles online, you can get lots of backlinks coming to your website to learn even more.

There are numerous sites where you can place these articles where they will get lots of readers. Goarticles.com, eHow.com, and ezinearticles.com are three such sites that get lots of interest. You can write the article, make it helpful and informative, and then include a link to your website and a brief biography about yourself as the writer in a resource box on the page with the article. With some of these kinds of sites, you may also be able to embed links into the article that can add more backlinks.

2. Create and Market Videos. You can also create interesting and helpful videos about the topics you deal with on your website and then publicize your video. The more people that watch your video, the better results your website will get. And the more they pass your link to that video along to their friends and contacts, the more backlinks you can get which will raise your rankings in the search engines. You can get lots of great backlinks to your video via a newsletter, reference to it in a blog or a forum, etc. You may even be able to include your link in your signature when you respond to posts on other people’s websites and forums-just be sure you check the rules first.

You can also tell lots and lots of people about your new videos by announcing it on Twitter. This is a brief (140 character maximum) blurb announcement service many people love. It’s short, sweet, and easy-and this could generate lots of video viewers and one-way backlinks for your site if you can get a buzz started about your videos.

3. Utilize Social Bookmarking Sites. Utilizing social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us, Digg.com, and stumbleupon.com, you can also generate some good backlinks. Whenever you submit a link back to your website on these services, visitors will see your link when they are looking for information and may opt to visit your site. They can also go to your videos and give you a positive mark for being a quality website with quality content. The more feedback you get, the more viewed your video will be and the better the backlinks you will generate.

4. Use Squidoo Lens. Similar to the article sites listed above, Squidoo publishes content you submit. However, in this case the content is called “lenses” and includes video, pictures, and text. You use a multimedia approach to share information and garner readers. You can create lenses about many topics-such as your business or specific products. These lenses will help generate backlinks and traffic to your website.

5. Hubpages. Hubpages is similar to Squidoo in that you use it to make content-rich pages with text, videos, pictures, and links. You create an account, pick a title for your Hubpage, and add tags. Then you add content: photos, text, products, or comments. While you don’t “own” a topic on Hubpages, the more Hubpages you create, the higher your Hubpages ranking will be, and the more you’ll be seen as the expert on a given topic.

6. Submit Your Website to Directories. Similar to search engines, directories list websites based on their relevance to a keyword or keyword phrase. However, directories are more subjective because they are evaluated by real live site editors who decide how applicable a particular website and its content are and decide whether or not they will include the listing for their readership. You should definitely submit your site to the appropriate directories, being very careful to submitting it for the correct category or subcategory and to following all the rules and guidelines to be sure your website gets the best possible chance of being included. Again, listings in directories generate valuable, high quality one-way backlinks that are beneficial to your search engine ratings and will draw traffic to your website.

7. Use Social Media Sites. You’re probably already familiar with these sites. Social media sites include Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, DeviantArt, and others. Using sites like this and creating pages for you and your business is very effective in getting backlinks and higher search engine ratings-as long as you keep them current so people don’t forget about you. Also remember that you need to stay professional on these kinds of sites even though they are often used by teens and young adults that may be very irreverent in their communications among themselves. You still need to put a professional image on your business and website.

You can get lots of one-way backlinks using these seven ideas. Begin with one approach and do it consistently and regularly. Slowly add new approaches as you are able. You’ll soon have higher rankings on the search engines and more visitors to your website!

Yahoo Search Engine Optimisation

November 15th, 2009 admin No comments

Everyone is talking about optimization a website for Google. Sure, Google does own a big chunk of the traffic. And they tend to deliver more traffic than everyone else. But don’t forget that there are other major players around, such as Yahoo. Although Yahoo doesn’t deliver as much traffic as Google, it is still able to send highly targeted traffic. 10% of traffic coming from Yahoo is still 10%. The traffic is still worth something. For sure, 10% is better than nothing. So what do you have to do to rank well in Yahoo?

Tip 1: Well organized links.

Unlike Google, Yahoo pays a lot more attention to the internal structure of your website. External links still count, but that is not the main emphasis. You can have a site ranking well in Yahoo with just a few back links. But if your internal linking structure is disorganized, you are going to find it hard to rank well in Yahoo.

Being well organized means you must have a clear linking structure. Try to adopt the hierarchical structure. Also, include a site map to ensure that Yahoo crawls and indexes all the web pages.

Tip 2: Use anchor texts for Internal links.

When creating links, make sure you use proper anchor texts for your internal links. Your anchor texts must contain your target keywords. For instance, if you link to another page on your site, and that page is about “traffic generation”, then your anchor texts must say “traffic generation”. In addition, internal links allow search engines to find your content more easily.

Tip 3: Use primary keywords in title tags.

This works for Google as well, but it’s very important for Yahoo. Use your primary keywords in the title tags! With this little tweak, you can easily move to page 1 or 2 of Yahoo. Yahoo looks at your page title as well as your Meta tags closely to determine the theme of your site. Make it easy for Yahoo and you will be rewarded with higher search rankings.

Tip 4: Use search engine friendly URLs.

Forget about fanciful URLs with query strings. Use search engine friendly URLs that contain your main keywords. Most of the open source CMS does this for you automatically. If you are not using a CMS, just rename your static HTML files with the keywords in the file names.

Tip 5: Write naturally, and post high quality unique content.

Yahoo places a lot of emphasis on relevancy. Don’t bother to stuff keywords in your content. Instead, write naturally, as if you are writing for a human reader. The quality of the content is very important. If you can post unique content that is valuable, Yahoo will love your site!

Tip 6: Be patient.

Finally, be patient. Yahoo takes a lot longer than Google to index a site. Some webmasters have commented that it takes as long as three months for an entire site to be indexed. If you have a site with a clear and concise linking structure and high quality content, all you have to do is to be patient and wait for Yahoo to index all the pages.

Yahoo search engines looks for site with most relevant content, make sure your website is constructed and well structured to provide most relevant information. Inbound link is not what yahoo search engine looking for. Fatcow hosting now with search engines submission tools and marketing service, go to our Fatcow review for more details.

SEO is Dead Without One Way Link Building

SEO is Dead Without One Way Link Building
By Jeff D. Thomas

What is One way link building?

Link exchanges are losing importance and all the search engine algorithms are placing less weight on these links. So the only way to get long term SEO benefits would be to obtain one way links. This will ensure a natural link profile for your website. Algorithms give more importance to websites that seem to have a natural link profile. Hence this will lead to more search engine traffic and in turn leading to more product sales.

Points to remember about one way link building:

  1. The anchor text plays a very vital role in search engine optimization. If you want to rank for a particular keyword or key phrase, you need to make sure that the links have them as anchors,
  2. The anchor phrases need to be varied which would seem like a natural link building. Making a note of the anchor used in a particular website is important so that you do not repeat a particular phrase too much,
  3. Excel sheets need to be maintained. Staying organized would ensure that you do not raise any filters and this would keep you out of the penalties issued by search engines,
  4. Make sure that the web pages on which the links are placed are indexed by the search engines. This means that the link would be considered for your website in the next update,
  5. Do not get links from link farms. This will affect your website in the long run,
  6. Making guest blog posts is another way to get backlinks and traffic without spending money.

If you feel that one way link building is a tough job,it is better to get services from a professional who has experience and knowledge about the SEO. Also remember that search engine optimization is a continuous job and you need to keep producing quality content in turn leading to viral links.

Brandsubmitter offers several One Way Link building packages to clients all over the globe. Doing quality work for maximizing business profits is our main target. Know more about our services on One Way link building.

Why You Need Outbound Links

July 16th, 2009 admin No comments

The Importance of Outbound Links

In today’s Google PR obsessed Internet world, everyone is completely focusing on getting in bound links to your site. While you should always be on a mission to get more sites to link to yours, you must not forget their polar opposites.

Remember, by having outbound links from your site, you are in essence “voting” for the site you link to. This is part of the entire ranking algorithm process for all the search engines. The idea is, that if two sites are similar in content and design, a site with more links pointing to it would be considered more important by the search engine.

So then, why should you help out any other site? Actually, by carefully linking to other relevant sites, you are increasing the relevancy of your own site.

So, as the spider returns the information to the database to be processed in the algorithm, it has pre-sorted some search results based on the links your site points to.

Another benefit of outbound linking is Geo Targeting, or Local search. There is a lot of speculation that local search is the next big trend in Search Marketing. While only time will tell, it won’t hurt to have your physical address listed on your website for those who will be embracing local search.

As an experiment, I created a site with a very unique url (to avoid the possibility of people finding it by accident), and I made it only 1 page long. The only thing the page consisted of were 80+ outbound links to relevant sites in the SEO industry, tools, forums and some tutorials. When the PageRank was first updated for the site, it came out of the box with a PR of 3. It has since fallen to a PR of 2 (now that I’ve pointed a few sites to it!).

The whole point of this experiment was to see how outbound links affect your own rankings of your site. I was able to generate a PR of 2 based entirely on linking to authority sites in the SEO industry. So, take the time to link to some relevant sites, the big names (if any), and enjoy the power of the easy, outbound link.

-To your online success!
